Our invention for a voice command television is definitely going to have its ups and downs. Inventing something like that is hard, and it’s going to take a lot of work and a lot of hard work. Combining those two things will make changing the channel easier, especially if someone is disabled, injured, or just lazy. Using a remote can be difficult because the batteries die eventually or it’s too far to reach, which is why voice command is a simpler solution, because you won’t have to do anything but say the channel or station. And if you have children it will help them learn their numbers quicker, because saying the channel number is more comprehensive than just pressing buttons or asking their parents to change the channel for them.

An idea we

Our invention for a voice command television is definitely going to have its ups and downs. Inventing something like that is hard, and it’s going to take a lot of work and a lot of hard work. Combining those two things will make changing the channel easier, especially if someone is disabled, injured, or just lazy. Using a remote can be difficult because the batteries die eventually or it’s too far to reach, which is why voice command is a simpler solution, because you won’t have to do anything but say the channel or station. Then again, this invention does have some negative things. If someone is sick and lost their voice they won’t be able to change the channel, because they can’t speak or speak loud enough for the TV to respond. And is something one is hearing impaired they won’t be able to change the channel either, but then again they can’t hear it either, but they still would like to watch TV. So, the television would have to have some type of remote for people in those circumstances, because our product is made to fit everyone’s needs.

Televisions of the future need something new, something for the average lazy person or just the average person. Remote controls are good, but they need batteries and sometimes their out of reach, especially for someone disabled. So, having a voice activated television is the best solution, all you have to do is say the channel or you can say the name of the station and the television will instantly change. And, you can say guide and the it will pop up on the television, you can even lower or higher up the volume just by saying it. Everything will be used by voice command, which is something that everyone can use, and will make watching TV easier.

Before we came up with the idea of a voice activated television each of us had different ideas for the Explorer Vision project. We each wanted to change something that benefited us. We each wrote down on a paper what we wanted to do and then we voted on the best idea. It was a hard decision but it we did make the right decision at the end. An idea we had was to make wireless headphones. We felt that in present day everything that used to operate with wires is now wireless, why not have wireless headphones. Phones became wireless, printers, computers and other things. We felt that having wireless headphones would be something useful but then we thought about how it would be hard to manage. And then worrying about where the IPod or musical device is at. We felt that there would be a lot of restrictions in having headphones.
